Congratulations to two of our clients – BBVA and William Hill – for picking up awards at this year’s Corporate & Financial Awards (CFAs), described as Europe’s leading celebration of successful financial communication strategies.
Corporate and financial communications have become increasingly important in maintaining the reputation of a company and mitigating its risk in a challenging economic landscape.
William Hill and BBVA were recognised as leaders in financial communications after winning Gold in the Best corporate website: FTSE 250 category, and Silver in the Best online report: International category respectively.
Judged by a panel of 25 experts from Europe’s leading companies and organisations, William Hill and BBVA were acknowledged as having innovative and creative communications strategies that excel at communicating to multiple stakeholders with a single distinct voice.
Cola Richmond, Consultant at Comprend, said: “This is a reflection of the type of client that we are fortunate to work with – super businesses and well-regarded brands with clear and, frequently, ambitious communications strategies. The awards are also a great endorsement of Comprend’s work and a testament to the creativity and expertise of our team who continually strive to deliver great results on behalf of our clients.”
Sanjay Mistry, Corporate & Financial judge and Head of Corporate Communications at Henkel, said: “The standard of entries this year was very high which made judging the nominees very difficult”.
Brittany Golob, editor of Communicate magazine, said: “The awards reflect the changing times in corporate comms and the growing challenges that modern business must face. But the winners of the 2015 Corporate & Financial Awards also reflect the quality of the corporate communications industry and the growing recognition of communications as an essential tool to reputation management and to maintaining a successful business.”
The 2015 Corporate & Financial Awards were hosted by British business journalist and presenter on the Today programme, Simon Jack, during a gala dinner at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square. The Corporate & Financial Awards were launched in 2012 and have grown in size and stature year on year.
