Trends and findings from Webranking 2019-2020

In our annual study, Webranking by Comprend, we rank the content on the corporate websites of the 900 largest companies in the world against stakeholder demands. The ranking is forensically detailed, with each website inspected against at least 250 measure points, and so naturally the results reveal plenty of insights and learnings. To partake in these learnings, download our white paper containing some of the latest trends in digital corporate communications.

Every year, through Webranking by Comprend, we survey and interview key stakeholder groups for corporate websites and rank the largest companies in Europe and beyond, based on their responses. In this white paper, we investigate the extent to which the ranked companies are delivering the content their target groups expect across different sections of the corporate website. The sections covered by Webranking are:

  • Homepage
  • About us
  • Press
  • Reporting
  • The Share
  • Investor Relations
  • Governance
  • Sustainability
  • Careers
  • Features & Functionalities

The white paper reveals trends from different sections, highlights the top performing companies, provides best practice examples on different solutions, and compares how different countries and sectors have scored and can learn from each other, all based on the results from the latest ranking.

There is also a detailed description of our research methodology, how we select companies to rank, how the ranking criteria are created, and the final rankings from our biggest lists and sectors.
