Critical vulnerabilities in PHP
On 21 October 2026, Sweden’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) urged organisations to act without delay on two critical vulnerabilities in PHP, the language behind WordPress, Drupal and many other content management systems. In the worst case, attackers could run malicious code on affected servers.
For a listed company, the website is a disclosure channel. If your site runs on PHP, make sure it has been patched, and make sure you know who is responsible for patching next time.

For most corporate websites, weeks rather than months. The exact time depends on the size of your site and any custom functionality, and we’ll give you a timeline after the analysis.
We have functionality built with WordPress plugins. What happens to it?
Most corporate websites rely on the same core needs: press releases, reports, share information, calendars, contact forms and search. WaaS covers these as standard. For anything more specific, we’ll go through it with you in the analysis phase.
Will we lose our search rankings?
No. We set up redirects from your old URLs so links and rankings carry over.
Do our editors need to learn a new system?
Yes, but WaaS is designed for corporate communications teams, not developers, and we train your editors before launch.
Can we change the design while we move?
