Johanna Fagrell Köhler new CEO for Comprend

Press release June 1st 2021

Comprend, a pioneer in digital corporate communication since the 1990s, is now investing in faster growth with the European customer base that the company has built up. The change of leadership takes place in a transformative phase in the market with great opportunities to play an important role in the large companies' digitization of their communication. Johanna Fagrell Köhler will take over as CEO on 1 June.

Johanna Fagrell Köhler has long and solid experience as a founder and leader for dynamic and successful consulting companies in Sweden and internationally. She also has experience from board assignments in both listed and unlisted companies and most recently came from a role as CEO of Creuna, which was acquired by Knowit last autumn. Her drive for digitization together with a documented ability to build strong teams is valuable for Comprend's continued development and growth.

“The digital map is constantly changing and the industry as a whole is taking a new form. More and more larger consultancy firms are selling anonymous resources. Here is an opportunity for Comprend to act with heart and mind in partnership with our customers and employees. I am really looking forward to working with all Comprendians in Stockholm and London. Comprend's unique offer provides a fantastic opportunity to grow and strengthen our position in Europe genuinely and qualitatively,” says Johanna Fagrell Köhler in a comment.

Staffan Lindgren as a founder of Comprend and one of the main owners of H&H Group comments: “I have led Comprend since the start in 1996 and look forward to continuing the work with our customers' important issues regarding digitization of communication. I have gotten to know Johanna as a strong leader with the abilities to shift up further and continue the company's growth journey in a good way”.

H&H Group's strategy is to be a long-term and developing owner of successful consulting companies in the communications area. The group's 15 specialized agencies are all strong individually, but by collaborating they create a unique opportunity for customers to solve complex issues in a cohesive and integrated way.

“Our customers' digital needs drive development within our entire group and are a priority growth area for the Group, where Comprend plays a key role. I am convinced that Johanna will contribute in many ways to realizing our vision and warmly welcome her to both Comprend and H&H Group,” says Martin Petersson, President and CEO of H&H Group.
