How we helped Systemair transform their corporate website

Leading global ventilation supplier Systemair needed a new corporate website with an improved user experience and a more modern look. We helped them develop a new site structure and design, and built the new website on our platform Website as a Service (WaaS).

An outdated website

The corporate website is one of the most important communication channels for listed companies. Yet, many corporate websites are outdated, making it difficult for companies to stay on top of updates to content, functions and features. Systemair, who's a leading global supplier of high-quality ventilation, heating, and cooling products and systems, reached out to us for support.

Systemair's old corporate website was difficult to navigate, and important content was hard to find. This resulted in a clunky user experience that negatively impacted visitor engagement. The old website design was also outdated and not aligned with Systemair's commercial website.

Luckily, with decades of experience in corporate communications and many website projects in our portfolio, we knew exactly how to help them!

From complexity to simplicity

Together with the communications team at Systemair, we outlined the main goals for the new website. The new website should:

  • Surface relevant, up-to-date information
  • Provide a seamless user experience with an intuitive navigation for their target audiences
  • Be scalable and easy to update
  • Have high security
  • Be visually aligned with Systemair's commercial website, without looking alike

Having outlined the goals of the new website, we dived in!

1. Putting the user in focus

In collaboration with Systemair, we developed a new sitemap and navigation, optimised for a seamless user experience. With a more intuitive navigation and core content clearly surfaced, audiences can easily find the information they need.

2. Adding a twist to the Systemair brand

For the design, we took the well-established look of the Systemair brand as our starting point and reenvisioned its expression. The new website is inspired by Systemair's commercial website, but has a different look and feel.

3. Migrating to Website as a Service (WaaS)

To ensure a fast time to market and meet Systemair's need for a scalable and secure website with an easy-to-use CMS, the new website was built on our Website as a Service (WaaS) platform. WaaS is straightforward to use, is optimised for search, has high security and is continuously developed to include new features.

The platform also allows you to tailor both design and page layout, which ensured that we had no technical restrictions when implementing the design and site structure to Systemair's new website.
