The 22nd season of Webranking by Comprend is about to start, measuring how well the largest companies in Europe meet the demands from the capital market and from jobseekers in 2018. Here is all you need to know about the new season.
Our survey summaries, which form the base of the Webranking criteria, can be found in our spotlight reports:
In the spotlight you’ll learn about what the stakeholders of corporate websites find important, and how has this changed compared to previous years. They consist of helpful reading to help you stay up to date.
As usual, the results per country will be published during the autumn and winter, as will the results of the companies included in the Europe 500 and Global 100 lists.
This year we will also publish the results for “All Europe”, that is all European companies that are ranked, regardless of which list they are on. In this list we will also invite companies that are not large enough to be on the lists, but which might be ambitious enough to be in the top of All Europe. Companies that pre-order the Webranking Report before 31 July will be included in the All Europe list.
The list of companies will be published within the next couple of days.
This year, the price for the Webranking Standard Report is 6,500 EUR, but if you order before 31 August, you will get it for last year’s price of 4,900 EUR.
The pre-order price for the Webranking Plus Report, which also includes a qualitative analysis of your website and a face to face presentation, is 8,900 EUR instead of 11,500 EUR.

* We are aware that many companies use the summer to make sure their websites are in perfect shape for the autumn. To make sure that we don’t miss any major changes you have made, you can send us an email with links and explanations to updates you have made during the summer so that this information can be included in your report.
Every year we ask the stakeholders of corporate websites what they expect from listed companies when it comes to information about the companies, either as an investment, a company of interest for the public or as a potential employer. Based on responses from around 500 people – 200 representing the capital market and 300 representing jobseekers – we summarise their expectations into criteria that we use to rank the companies.
The criteria are split up into different sections such as About us, Investor Relations, Sustainability and Careers. Some criteria also apply to the companies’ social media channels.
Using STOXX All Europe as a base, we rank the 500 largest companies in Europe. Size is measured in market cap.
In addition to these 500 companies, we rank additional companies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Italy as well as the 100 largest companies globally. These additional companies are also selected based on market cap, so we rank the largest companies in each country. We rank more than 800 companies in total.
Starting in October, we present the results with the best performing companies by publishing results by country on our website and in media. We also publish the results of all companies in the Europe 500 list, Global 100 and - new for this year - All Europe.
